Hi, I’m Kathy Glass, the face behind Great Salt Lake Web Design. I started my journey into web development as a young mom, teaching myself how to build websites when the internet was just starting out. I was fascinated by the idea of putting text into an editor and seeing it come to life. My first creations were personal—sites about my kids, family newsletters, and pages dedicated to movies and bands I loved. It was a creative outlet that quickly turned into a passion.

As my children grew older, I began building websites for my church and charitable organizations, finding joy in helping others and earning a little extra to support my family. What started as a side project has now grown into my business—a business that lets me do what I love while supporting my family, and yours too.

My Mission

My goal with Great Salt Lake Web Design is simple: do what I love and help support my family. I focus exclusively on small businesses because I believe in the power of family, self-reliance, and the determination that drives small business owners. I know firsthand how challenging it is to balance work and family life, and I’m here to make your online presence one less thing to worry about.

What I Value

I’m proud to be a Catholic Christian, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Family is the heart of everything I do, both personally and professionally. My faith and family values guide my work ethic and my relationships with clients. I believe in building strong communities, and that starts with helping small businesses like yours thrive.

When I’m not designing websites, I’m busy sewing, playing video games with my grandchildren, or volunteering weekly at my church. I find balance and joy in these moments, and they remind me why I started this journey—to support my family and live out my values.
